Q85 Block Party & ASAP Mix

This is the full assortment of mixes that date from 2016 – 2017. These originally aired as part of the “Q85 Block Party” and were re-aired later under the “ASAP Mixshow” banner.

Quote from @weekendpaul: This was my first mix at Q85 and wouldn’t you know it – I let a number of swears through in this mix. Did you catch it? Most of the online radio stations I’ve provided mixes for have a very liberal filter, but not this one. No swearing at all is allowed. Welp. I broke that rule on day one. Luckily, no one caught it and I cleaned it up the following week.

Quote from @weekendpaul: I really loved these tiny “ASAP” mixes because they were really driven by listener requests. The format was very similar to what I tried to do with my “Speaker Treats” mixtapes. I had a lot of fun with these and I hope you enjoy them, too.

Quote from @weekendpaul: Full disclaimer – I split program director and on-air host duties at the time these mixes aired. But that doesn’t change the fact that this station has a pretty awesome format. It’s primarily a CHR format with a dance-ish lean that’s not afraid to drop some rock, country, or old school songs. Very unique with a DEEP catalog. Even though I had very limited time to do so, I LOVED mixing for this station.
